True innovation is flourishing and revitalization can be seen everywhere in Clarksville, with local small business owners taking the lead Downtown – the food scene is booming, public art is around every corner, and there is a wealth of one-of-a-kind local shopping and family activities to be found.
The Small Business Community is proudly represented through The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce – serving Clarksville-Montgomery County for 115 years. Since 1905, countless volunteers have pursued the mission of the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce: to represent the interests of the business community and its membership by advancing community development, promoting the business and economic environment, and improving the welfare of the community by enhancing the quality of life in the region.
Today, the Chamber represents more than 800 members accounting for nearly 30,000 full-time employees. Members work in retail, finance, education, healthcare, real estate, government, law, communications, transportation, and many other industries.
Lead by a board of directors, made up of community leaders, volunteers and staff of the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce work daily to effectively represent the broad and diverse membership base and maintain a business-friendly environment where existing businesses can flourish and new businesses can bring economic impact and jobs to Clarksville-Montgomery County.
